    How to Play Adobe Flash Player

    Intro

    This post is about how to play adobe flash player. It will mark a significant change in the way I have posted the tech topics now. Being an engineer, I believe it is my duty to share how we engineer process the ideas, use internet and other tips. So a series of post will be there now with this theme.

    Wikipedia defines adobe flash player as a freeware computer software for viewing multimedia contents, running rich Internet applications, and streaming audio and video content made on the Adobe Flash platform (known as Shockwave Flash in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome). On supported devices, it can function independently or as a browser plug-in within a web browser. The main reason for me writing this post is to share how you can use the flash players like functionality in your laptop. There exists plethora of site which uses flash player. And, after the Adobe ended the support for Flash Player in December 2020, such websites functionality rendered effectively useless.

    Why Adobe Flash Player was used?

    Adobe Flash Player was the leader when it was on the market. Almost all the sites used it to display back then. It supported multimedia formats like MP3, MPEG4, JPEG, PNG, GIF, FLG. Also, it supports data formats like XML, JSON, AMF and SWF. Several other features were also there but I will refrain from those as the post is not about that. This BBC article says the reason why Adobe ended flash player, “But it was plagued with security problems and failed to transition to the smartphone era. Adobe will no longer offer security updates for Flash and has urged people to uninstall it. It will also stop videos and animations running in its Flash Player from 12 January.” This is just to make the site secure and other security reasons they said.

    Alternatives to Adobe Flash Player ?

    Well I don’t know why I kept this sub heading. I think I wanted you to know that there exists alternative to adobe flash player but this post is not about alternatives but rather about how you can play multimedia files from websites in your laptop. All this will make sense in next couple section. For this section, some of the well known alternatives are Lightspark, Gnash, Ruffle and Cheerpx.

    Reason for writing this post

    One of my favorite sites during engineering was Animated Mechanics. This has everything a mechanical engineer would want to learn. Animation of four bar chain, watts engine, different other linkages which I can’t seem to remember now are also there. I will upload some of the animation I was able to play on my laptop for the four bar chain.

    Four Bar Chain Linkage Play
    Four bar clockwise movement
    Coupler Type four bar chain
    If you are using this video in your site then please give reference to the site.

    How to download flash player files from any website?

    So if you go to the following page https://www.mekanizmalar.com/fourbar.html, then you won’t find it working. But it works on laptop on the adobe flash player application. I will upload the flash player exe application at the end. This can run all the types of flash player types. Now, let us begin with the section.

    Download FireFox browser first. Visit the website from firefox then go to the developer option, press CTRL+ SHIFT+ I keys on your laptop together. You can do quick google search if you are not able to find developer option. Then visit media section and there you will find forubar.swf file. Download it. That’s it! You have downloaded the file now.

    How to play flash content in laptop?

    Download link for the flash player is here. It is uploaded in linkvertise for secure upload. Follow some extra step and unlock it. Now after it is done, open the exe file. The interface is as below:

    Opening Interface of Adobe Flash Player

    Now, click on file and open the location where swf file is located and that’s it. You have completed the tutorial I guess. Some series of images I have enjoyed while writing this post are below:

    Also, feel free to comment if you faced any difficulty. I am in a good mood, won’t scold.

    (Unknown Error 1004) – Trying to unlock the bootloader

    Hey guys, while I was trying to unlock the bootloader of my redmi 9 pro max, it showed this error (Unknown error 1004). I search about this error on google to find more details & I tried the given solution from different popular forums like xda, reddit etc but the solution didn’t worked. So I tried doing some random stuff by myself to find the possible reason for that error. After 24 hours of testing, I found the exact reason why there was Unknown error 4004.

    This error occurs when we don’t put the original SIM card that we used to sign in to our MI account. This error is also known as device verification failed as the SIM card that we used to verify our account is either not inserted or switch to different one.

    The above image shows the error we are talking about. While trying to unlock the bootloader, this is the error message I received.

    The solution is simple, we have to insert our SIM card that we used before while verifying our MI account.

    After I inserted the SIM cards, the error was fixed & the time remaining to unlock the bootloader just showed up. Here is the screenshot of the solution.

    The above image confirms that I was able to fix the error.

    Now it is time to unlocked a bootloader on my redmi 9 pro max. Moving forward, I clicked on unlock & followed the steps shown.

    Bootloader Unlocked ✅

    The phone got factory erased. Make sure to back up all of your necessary files & apps before unlocking the bootloader.

  • How to Speed up a Slow Android device

    Is your Android device out of date with the times? Don’t worry—you’re not alone in feeling this lag because the majority of outdated Android devices are unable to keep up with modern technology. We are writing this post because there was a period of time when we experimented with a lot of things on Android that it wasn’t meant to do.

    Since we have personally verified the majority of the articles that surface on Google searches, the majority of them are written without expertise that you will find online. SEO professionals used to find it very easy to manipulate search engine results pages before Google core update of 2024. Hopefully it is fixed after the latest core update.

    Delete Old Files & Apps

    It is imperative that you keep your application list current. Eliminating any unwanted third-party software that you no longer need or use is also essential.

    You need to root your smartphone in order to get rid of preinstalled apps. Visit our page on how to root for more details. These programmes may slow down the device and take up a lot of storage space.

    Tweaking Android CPU

    For those of you who are interested, I will provide the formal definition of overlocking. The Central Processing Unit (CPU) of an Android device can be overclocked in order to improve performance. The clock rate of the CPU determines how quickly it processes commands and finishes tasks.

    When performing demanding tasks like gaming or video editing, an Android device’s performance can be enhanced by overclocking the CPU. The device can process commands and complete tasks faster if the CPU clock speed is increased above the default value. This could lead to a smoother and more responsive operation.

    Tweaking Custom Kernel

    A custom kernel is a programme that communicates with the hardware of the device. Custom kernels can alter the memory management or multitasking algorithms of the CPU and GPU to increase overall performance and prolong battery life. Two examples are the well-known customised kernels ElementalX and Franco Kernel.

    Disable Advertisements

    Advertising can be obtrusive and slow down the device, especially if it is animated or has a lot of visuals. Ads often negatively affect system performance by consuming CPU and memory resources. Ads on a device often include tracking technologies and scripts that may continue to use system resources even after the ad has closed. Device performance may suffer as a result, particularly on older or lower-end models with potentially weaker hardware.

    Ads can be blocked from appearing anywhere on the system with a root-enabled ad blocker such as AdAway or Adblock Plus, which will speed up the device.

    Modify User Interface

    Beyond what can be done with stock software, root access gives users additional customisation options for the device’s user interface. For example, you can use a root-enabled programme like GravityBox or Xposed Framework to change the device’s status bar, navigation bar, and other system components. We can also use the light Android launcher from the Xposed Framework, which was created by outside developers.

    Make room for more space

    You can partition the device’s storage using root access and install a custom recovery on an Android smartphone with limited internal storage. App data can be moved to an external SD card or USB drive using programmes such as FolderMount and Link2SD.

    Monitor Battery Health

    There are several ways to extend battery life when you have root access. Using programmes like Greenify, which allow users to hibernate power-hungry background apps, is one way to extend battery life. Greenify can even use root access to hibernate system apps, which will result in a significant reduction in energy consumption. Using apps that provide you more control over the CPU and GPU settings is another way to extend the life of a device’s battery. Programmes that allow users to alter the CPU and GPU clock rates, such as CPU Tuner and Kernel Adiutor, can help lower battery consumption by restricting the processor’s power consumption.

    No 3D Walpaper

    Disabling live wallpapers on your Android device can improve speed and performance by lowering the continuous demand on CPU and GPU resources. As a result, the battery will last longer and the device will operate more steadily and smoothly during screen transitions and multitasking. This small change makes your device use its resources more efficiently, which increases dependability and user responsiveness.

    Limit Display Animation

    Reducing animations on an Android device can significantly increase its speed and responsiveness. Visual effects known as animations show up when you use the UI, open apps, or switch between displays. These animations’ smooth transitions can enhance user experience, but they also waste processor and memory resources. By reducing or eliminating these animations, the device’s CPU and GPU are under less strain, freeing up more resources for important tasks.

    This results in a snappier user interface overall and quicker programme launches and screen swapping. Reducing animations may also help devices that are older or less powerful perform better because they won’t be able to handle the complex graphical demands of animations. Ultimately, selecting a less dynamic and more basic UI will help your Android device run faster and more efficiently, especially if you prioritise functionality over visually striking effects.

    Delete Third-party Launchers

    Using an integrated or lightweight launcher will increase the speed of your Android device while preserving system resources, facilitating faster app launches, improving battery life, decreasing background activities, and providing a more straightforward and stable user experience. Because these launchers are optimised for your specific device, use less CPU and RAM, and don’t have the feature-rich but resource-intensive elements of third-party launchers, they’re a useful option for increasing overall speed, especially on older or less capable Android devices.

    That’s all for now. If you find this tips useful, consider following us. If you have any feedback/suggestions, feel free to comment.

  • How To Prevent Unauthorized Access To Wi-Fi

    How To Prevent Unauthorized Access To Wi-Fi

    I recently noticed that my Wi-Fi speed was inconsistent while using the internet for routine tasks. Unusually, the Wi-Fi speed keeps increasing in speed. It rarely runs and sometimes it runs smoothly as it should. After that, I went to the Wi-Fi security page and discovered that my Wi-Fi was being used by four unauthorised devices (Android, Windows, and iPhone).

    Upon closer inspection of the Wi-Fi security page, I discovered that WPS was enabled, which may be the source of my Wi-Fi password leak. I changed the Wi-Fi password right away after turning off WPS mode. This is the method I used to prevent them from connecting again.

    Disable WPS

    You need to eliminate security flaws in order to stop anyone from connecting to your Wi-Fi network. Disabling WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is part of it. By going to the security option on your Wi-Fi setup page after logging in, you can disable this. This screenshot shows you how to accomplish it.

    This picture shows you my Wi-Fi setup by default. Enable WPS mode is located on the second to last option, which is not active at the moment. You must be aware that not every Wi-Fi security page is the same, so you should always check or use WPS mode, which is typically available on security pages of Wi-Fi setup pages.

    Checking Unauthroized Users

    One quickest way to find detailed information about unauthorized users is by using external applications that are freely available on Google Play Store and Apple App store. Here’s how to find.

    Get the Fing app from the Google Play Store or the App Store for iOS mobile devices. Open the app on your tablet or smartphone after installing it.

    The main dashboard will appear when you first launch the Fing app. Just click the “Scan” button or select the “Network” tab to begin a network scan. At that point, Fing will start looking through all of the devices linked to your network.

    Following the completion of the scan, Fing will list every device it discovered connected to your WiFi network. The device name, IP address, MAC address, manufacturer, and type are usually included in this list.

    Use in-build router setup page

    Go to your router’s setup page: Open a web browser on a device connected to your WiFi network. In the address bar, type the IP address of your router. This would normally be either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

    Enter Login Credentials: You must enter the login credentials for your router. This information is typically found on a sticker on the router or in the handbook.

    Status: Navigate to the status section and select “User Device Information.” A list of all connected devices with their IP address, Mac address, and operating system type will appear.

    Now, we are able to find who is using our WiFi. Now let’s look at how we can stop access from unidentified individuals or devices. Each Wi-Fi router is built differently. You can access most of the router setup page by using 192.168.100.1 or 192.168.10.1. We will now use your Wi-Fi setup page to prevent unauthorised users from connecting to our WiFi.

    Steps to Block Unauthorized Users

    Try accessing the router setup page with any of your browsers, then use your default login and password to log in to the wifi setup page.

    Navigate to Security

    After logging in, a webpage with details about your Wi-Fi network will appear. Please choose the security option, as shown in the image below.

    Use Mac Filter

    Right now, choose MAC Filter Configuration. Once you select MAC Filter Configuration, the option to enable mac filter will show up. Then click on “Enable Mac Filter.” By doing this, Mac Address Filtering will be enabled, enabling us to stop unauthorised users from utilising our WiFi.

    Both a whitelist and a blacklist will be available. You can grant users unrestricted access to your WiFi by using the whitelist option. We urgently need the blacklist feature. It keeps devices that are either targeted or unauthorised from connecting to our wireless network.

    As the example shows, click filter mode and select blacklist. In the source MAC address field, enter the mac address of the device you want to block. The mac address can be found using the FING application or the router configuration page, as was previously mentioned.

Initially, the temperature of the copper block is 150 ° C and the temperature of the aluminum block is 50 ° C. The blocks are isolated from the environment. They put in thermal contact with each other. Find the equilibrium temperature, the total entropy change and determine if the process is reversible, irreversible and impossible. The specific heat of copper is 0.385 kJ / kg Ky and the specific heat of aluminum is 0.9 kJ / kg K.

    Answer

    Solution :
    Given Data :-
    Mass of copper and aluminum m = mcu = mA = 1 kg
    Initial temperature of copper (Tcu)1 = 150C = 423K
    Initial temperature of aluminum (TAI)1 = 50C = 323 K
    The specific heat of copper Cou= 0.385 kJ/kg.K
    The specific heat of aluminum CAL = 0.9 kJ/kg.K
    There is no work or heat transfer with environment, so W = AQ = 0
    Applying first law of thermodynamics for this system:
    \therefore \Delta Q-W=\Delta U
    As, AQ =W=0+ AU = 0
    \textup{where, } \Delta U \textup{ is change in internal energies of system.}
    \therefore \Delta U_{Cu}+\Delta U_{Al}=0
    \therefore [mC(T_2-T_1)]_{Cu}+[mC(T_2-T_1)]_{Al}=0
    As we know (Tcu)2 = (TA12 = T2
    \therefore [1(0.385)(T_2-150)]+[1(0.9)(T_2-50)]=0
    \therefore 1.285\, T_2\, -102.75=0
    {\color{DarkBlue} \therefore \, T_2\,=79.9611^{\circ}\, C=352.961\, K}\, \, \, \, \textbf{(\textup{Equillibrium temperature})}
    \textup{The entropy change for solid object is given as : }\Delta S=mC\ln \left (\frac{T_2}{T_1} \right )
    \textup{Total entropy change of system is given as : }\Delta S=\Delta S_{Cu}+\Delta S_{Al}
    \Delta S=\left [mC \ln \left ( \frac{T_2}{T_1} \right ) \right ]_{Cu}+\left [mC \ln \left ( \frac{T_2}{T_1} \right ) \right ]_{Al}
    352.9611 AS = 1(0.385) In (4231+ (0.5) 352.9611 323 )
    {\color{DarkBlue} \Delta S=0.01014446\, \,\textup{ kJ/K}=10.14446\, \, \textup{ J/K}} \, \, \textbf{(Total entropy change)}
    \textup{As the total entropy change is greater than zero. }(\Delta S)>0
    \textup{Hence the process is\textbf{ irreversible.}}
