From the information that was given I can conclude that we have a vector addition first we travel 10 miles to the east and later we travel 8 miles to the west so now we travel 2 miles to the east. Then we travel 8 miles to the south but then we travel 6 miles to the north so now we travel 2 miles to the south and I can draw a line which connect the 2 vectors together which that line is sum of vector addition.
